‘Children of Another Sun’
It is only in the last twenty-five years that we have been able to prove that the Sun is not unique in having a family of planets. This talk looks at the discovery of planets orbiting other stars (One of which Paul has found himself). How many such planets have we found? What is the nature of them? Then, taking things a little further, this talk brings in the story of the search for life across the Universe.

The event will be on Tuesday 1st October 2024 at 1900 BST. Our Speaker will be delivering this talk with an in-person audience at our HQ building in London, this will also be live-streamed online on Zoom for additional virtual online attendance.
Please note: this meeting will be recorded both on Zoom and from the lecture room. By attending the meeting either virtually, or in-person, you acknowledge your consent to this.
