The Sir Arthur Clarke Awards recognise and reward those individuals and teams based in the UK that have made notable or outstanding achievements in, or contributions to space activities in the past calendar year.  The Lifetime and International Awards are open to all.  Better known as ‘The Arthurs’, they have been presented annually since 2005.

The British Interplanetary Society (BIS) organises and manages the Awards in conjunction with the Arthur C. Clarke Foundation Board, which selects the finalists and the winner of the International Award.  The BIS welcomes nominations for these prestigious Awards.

The winners are announced and the awards presented annually at a Gala Dinner hosted by the British Interplanetary Society, to which the three finalists in each of up to ten award categories are invited to attend.
