This approach receives support from Freitas, who proposes a balanced programme of SETI research which includes a search for xenological artifacts residing in the Solar System. Following this proposal, Freitas and Valdes [5] undertook a preliminary photographic investigation of the Earth-Moon triangular libration points L4 and L5 and the solar-synchronized positions in the associated halo orbits.
