Abstract:

On 27 November 1991, Hans K. Kaiser, who had devoted his life to the idea of spaceflight and had thereby become a part of its history, would have celebrated his 80th birthday. During his life span (1911-1985), he witnessed many milestones in the development of space flight. As a child, Kaiser was interested in astronomy. physics and mathematics and, later studied astrophysics at the Universities of Breslau and Kiel.
