Delivery FAQs

When will my order be despatched?

Your order will normally be despatched within seven working days.  Please note that due to current Covid restrictions, BIS staff are working from home, and orders are being collected once a week from our London HQ.  If your order is urgent, please contact us to inform us.  All orders are shipped from the UK.

Can I change my shipping address?

For an order you have already placed, please contact us urgently.  If the order has not yet been despatched, we will change the address.  Any change of address to a different country may incur additional charges.  If you have not yet placed the order, you can change your registered address at the point of checkout, or do this from the My Account page.

Do you ship internationally?

We do, and you can book international delivery through the system.  Please note that Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the cost of the product or shipping cost, and these are the responsibility of the buyer.  You should check with your country’s Customs Office to find out what these costs might be, prior to purchase.  No refunds will be provided if you change your mind at the point of receiving the request for Import related charges.  Please note that following the UK’s exit from the European Union, such charges may be payable in the EU.

How will my order be sent?

Most orders will be sent by Royal Mail, the universal postal service of the UK.  For orders outside the UK, depending on the parcel weight, this may be by airmail or surface mail.  Within the UK and Europe, orders should arrive within 28 days.  Internationally, please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery.  Heavy orders (weighing 2kg or more) or bulky items will be sent using a courier service, usually UPS.  You will receive a tracking link for such deliveries.

Do you provide express delivery options?

We do not currently provide this as standard.  However, if your order is urgent, particularly if you are abroad, please contact us and we will advise if we can provide this for an additional fee.
