2026 BIS Members’ Open Discussion and Get-Together

Join us in-person or online for a BIS Members’ Open Discussion on the Society and contribute towards ideas and initiatives for shaping our future. The discussion will be followed by an in-person get-together at the HQ building in London.

Date: Saturday 20th June 2026 at 15.00 BST

BIS Members’ Open Discussion and Get-together (open to all Members)

Immediately after the BIS Annual General Meeting (starting at 14:00), all BIS Members are warmly welcome to join the Fellows for a general discussion on the BIS starting at 15:00, followed by a Members’ social in the garden where tea, scones, sunshine and good conversation will be had.

Places for in-person and online registration are limited and on a first come first served basis. You must register on this page in order to attend online or in-person, it will not be possible to attend without pre-registration by 12:00 midnight BST on Friday 19 June.

Please note – this event is open to BIS Members only. Your membership status will be checked upon registration prior to confirmation. This event is free to attend and you do not need to log-in to the Members’ area of the website to register for your free ticket. However, you do need to add your free ticket to the basket from this page and complete checkout to register.

Please note – if you are a Fellow and have registered for the AGM (either in-person or online), you do not need to separately register for the open discussion and Members’ get-together. This will be automatically included in your registration for the AGM and if you have registered for online attendance, we will send you both Zoom meeting links for the AGM and Members’ open discussion. You will receive as two separate links to join these meetings at the times listed.
