Abstract:

Since the existence of the Russian Moon Rocket has been revealed in 1989 many data about this rocket have been released by different sources. However, very little data has been published about the trajectory the N-1 should have flown if one of her flights would have  been successful. Furthermore, the only performance known of the N-1 is that for a low Earth parking orbit (200 km, 51.6 degrees ) for which the performance is quoted to be between 95 and 98 tons. Besides this, the data released on the N-1 have never been verified in terms of consistency and conditions under which the measurements were made.
