As part of the METEOSAT Transition Programme. Thomson CSF was prime contractor for EUMETSAT’s Mission Control Centre Core Facility, located in Darmstadt, Germany. Under subcontract to Thomson-CSF, Science Systems (Space) was responsible for the development of the Mission Control Element.
