BIS members Open Discussion and Get-Together
Join us in-person or online for a BIS members Open Discussion on the Society and contribute towards ideas and initiatives for shaping our future, as we approach our 90th celebrations and beyond. Followed by an in-person get-together at the HQ building in London.

17:00 BIS members Open Discussion and Get-together (open to all members)
Immediately after the BIS Annual General Meeting (starting at 16:00), all BIS members are welcome to join the Fellows for a general discussion on the BIS starting which starts at 17:00, Followed by a members social in the building (light refreshments provided).
Places for in-person and online registration are limited and on a first come first served basis. You must register on this page in order to attend online or in-person, it will not be possible to attend without pre-registration by 21:00 Hrs GMT (UK time) on Friday 24 March.
Please Note – this event is open to BIS members only. Your membership status will be checked upon registration prior to confirmation. This event is free to attend and you do not need to log-in to the members area of the website to register for your free ticket. However you do need to add you free ticket to the basket and complete checkout to register.
In registering for this in-person, you are also welcome to attend the BIS West Midlands talk ‘Blasting into Space from the UK’ by Robin Brand, at 14:00 Hrs, which is being live-streamed to our conference room and so do not need to register separately to attend this earlier talk. Please Note. If you are a Fellow and have registered for the AGM (either in-person or online), you do not need to separately register for the open discussion and members get-together. This will be automatically included in your registration for the AGM and if you have registered for online attendance, we will send you both Zoom meeting links for the ‘AGM’ and ‘members open discussion’, which you will receive as two separate links to join these meetings at their listed times.
