Abstract:

IDR (IRIS DERIVED ROCKET) IS A proposed solid rocket Ariane fourth stage, the motor of which is to be the same as for IRIS, an upper stage intended to be flown on the Shuttle. IRIS is being funded by the Italian Government and developed by Italian Industry.
