Abstract:

A method for detecting microorganisms on planets other than the Earth has been described previously [1], and an experimental programme is planned here for its development. This consists or two series of scientific investigations. The first series is based on the study or the growth curve of bacterial populations on different nutrient media, while the second takes into account the transmission to Earth or the image of microbial colonies which can develop in various nutrient media.
