Abstract:

EVEN THOUGH THE evolutionary history of the Universe can be traced back to 16 billion years ago, when the entire Universe started its expansion from a very hot and dense ball of gas, the formation of the Solar System from the solar nebula took place only about 4.7 billion years ago. The early atmosphere of the Earth was undoubtedly non-oxidising with methane, water, hydrogen and ammonia as some of its constituents.
