Abstract:
Thrust can be produced by means of the ignition of thermo-nuclear microexplosions in the vicinity of magnetic reflectors, thereby directing the expansion of the plasma generated by these microexplosions. In 1979 Winterberg proposed a space ship with a large number of nuclear microexplosion propulsion units operating in parallel.
