Abstract:

The simplest imaging X-ray telescope is a pinhole camera with a small pinhole positioned in front of an X-ray detector. Unlike systems using grazing incidence reflection optics, such telescopes are not limited to low X-ray energy, but high resolution necessitates small pinholes and consequently very low efficiencies.
