Abstract:

The INTELSAT Assistance and Development Program (IADP) was initiated in 1978. The program provides technical and operational assistance to INTELSAT Signatories and users in all aspects of their use of the INTELSAT system. A total of more than 90 countries have benefitted from IADP assistance to date; some countries have utilized the Program several times. The scope of the Program includes almost any subject on which a user may wish advice, with the more recent requests emphasizing the implementation of digital technology.
