The Austrian theoretical physicist Ludwig Flamm, was born in Vienna on 29 January 1885 and died there on 4 December 1964. He submitted to Physikali sche Zeitschrift a paper on 3
September 1916 entitled “Beitrage zur Einsteinschen Gravitationtheorie” (Contributions to theory or gravitation of Einstein) that marked the beginning of what we now call the Theory of Wormholes viz the Theory of Tunnels into Spacetime.
