Abstract:

Additive Manufacturing (AM) is being increasingly used by the space industry and one application is the manufacture of rocket engine combustion chambers. The study reported in this paper redesigned an existing combustion chamber exploring the impact of the different manufacturing processes involved and use of different materials that are suitable for AM.
