Abstract:
With the emergence in Europe of direct-to-home satellite television broadcasting a new carrier is available for data broadcast services. By using spare bandwidth in high power transmissions from these satellites it is possible to distribute data to ground receivers with small antenna (Very Small Aperture Terminals – VSAT).
