Abstract:

The establishment or a lunar base is still an important element or several or the exploration architectures under review within NASA and other government, industry and academic organizations. A project undertaken jointly by engineers at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace and Shimizu Corporation has developed a conceptual design of a lunar base focusing on resource utilization.
