Abstract:

INTELSAT domestic services are used by a large cross-section of nations. Developed countries use INTELSAT capacity for domestic requirements to supplement terrestrial networks. Developing nations use INTELSAT domestic capacity to overcome geographic barriers (such as deserts, mountains and oceans), to stimulate economic growth and to raise the level of education and health of their populations.
