Abstract:

Anthrorack is a reusable, multi-user Spacelab facility designed to support a broad range of research in the general field of Human Physiology under Weightlessness. It is planned to fly on Spacelab D2, planned for April 1992. Anthrorack supports investigations into the following sub-disciplines:

(1) Cardiovascular and pulmonary function and adaptation

(2) Metabolic processes and adaptation

(3) Hormonal function and adaptation

(4) Sensori-motor function and adaptation.
