Abstract:
The ability to visualise data in a graphical way has always helped people to grasp its significance much more quickly than viewing pages or numbers. This is particularly important in spacecraft. control rooms, where the amount or data being received is usually large and requires rapid response from human spacecraft controllers. Graphical displays help the operators to interpret and respond more rapidly to the incoming data.
