Abstract:

This paper has the ultimate aim of studying the limits of the space propulsion capabilities to be expected as far as current knowledge of the physical laws allows. The first objective is to carry out and then specialise the Multiple Propulsion Mode (MPM) equations to examples involving recent technology developments and propulsion concepts.
