Abstract:

BEGINNING IN 1761, numerous observations have accumulated which have suggested to some [1-13] that the Earth may be the unwitting host to both ephemeral and more permanent natural satellites. The possible source and nature of these bodies have also been the subject of speculation [14-17]. However. the main stream of science has either ignored or despised the idea of any natural satellites of the Earth other than the Moo n [18-20] but without producing any observational or dynamical evidence to support their disapproval.
