Abstract:
Though Norway is one of the newcomers to the space industry, the SINTEF Group based in Trondheim has become one of the key research organizations in Scandinavia for the European Space Agency (ESA). Contract work for ESA has been fairly well spread through the Group, however there is little doubt that SINTEF and the Norwegian Marine Technology Research Institute (MARINTEK) have dominated the Group’ s work for ESA.
