Abstract:

From 1926, basic concepts of space law developed in three parallel courses, separated by language, for almost thirty years. Principles set forth by Soviet writers in the 1920’s and 1930’s have been consistently reflected, unchanged, in Russian works to this day. German language space law literature, begun in 1932, maintained a separate course and content until the mid-1950’s. After World War II, English and French language papers, and emergence of the International Astronautical Federation, catalytically stimulated international exchanges on concepts of space law.
