Abstract:
Physics-based biomechanical simulation of the human skeletomuscular system is a useful process for applying conjectural situations to a physically accurate human model. Recent advances in computing power and improved numerical methods for physics simulation indicate that it is now practical to create a detailed human biomechanical model that can be utilized in a number of distinct disciplines and fields. A framework is also suggested for future enhancements to the simulation model.
