Reinventing Space Ticket with Free U25 BIS Membership
As part of the BIS’s ongoing commitment to developing networks and support for young people in the space sector, and sponsored by Mirror Quark (founded by Alan Bond), the Society is able to offer a bundle deal of a half price Reinventing Space ticket and free membership of the Society for the 2021 year to 30 students who may otherwise be unable to participate in the conference or the Society.
With Reinventing Space tickets already discounted for under 25s, this means that with prices from £37.50, you could attend Reinventing Space and gain membership of the BIS receiving SpaceFlight! Reinventing Space 2021 will take place in London, with keynote speakers including former Science Minister Lord Willetts, representatives from UKSA, FCDO and GNOSIS, and a wide range of technical papers including on space debris, Earth observation, environmental issues, UK spaceports and economic recovery. It will include a UKSEDS Careers event as well as a special BIS NextGen Network Panel and a presentation with Women in Aerospace: Europe.
To qualify for this offer, you must be a student in full time tertiary education under the age of 25 as at 1st June 2021. Your postal address must be in the United Kingdom. You will be asked to confirm the institution where you are studying, and which course – the course must relate to a discipline directly applicable to or relevant to the space sector. To apply, you must purchase a one day or three day pass for Reinventing Space, and this is only open to people making new purchases from 2nd June 2021. You will be asked to give a short description of why you might otherwise be unable to participate.
As part of your membership you will receive access to SpaceFlight for 2021, with copies sent to your UK address, and access to all of the other benefits of membership, including access to our NextGen Network, events and discounts, and the ability to join technical projects and working groups.
