Abstract:
The flights within the Soviet photoreconnaissance satellite programme were last reviewed by this writer in 1991, although papers dealing with different aspects of the programme have been published since that time. Starting in the early 1990s there has been a major decline in the number of satellite launches, to the point that only one or two launches can be expected each year. This paper reviews the photoreconnaissance and related remote sensing satellites which have been launched since 1991.
