Abstract:
In the days when there was little information published by the Soviet Union concerning launch vehicles used in its unmanned space programmes, this writer prepared two papers looking at the satellites launched by the “Cosmos launch vehicle”, the second of these articles also reviewing the launch vehicle itself [1,2]. As a result of details which have become available from official and other Russian and Ukrainian sources it is now possible to prepare follow-on papers which review these programmes.
