Abstract:

Newly introduced technology will enhance the efficiency and flexibility of future payloads. Multi beam antennas will increase the receive sensitivity and the EIRP of the satellite and allow frequency reuse. On-board demodulation will increase the flexibility of the payload to allow efficient on-board routing of the signal as well as improve the link budget.
