Abstract:
The Italsat Spacecraft was successfully launched on 16th January 1991. Prior to launch, the Italsat Simulator was used over a period of nine months to verify the Operational Procedures composed by the Operations Department (OD) at ESOC as well as providing a training tool for the Spacecraft Controllers (SPACONs).
