Abstract:
In the processing of planetary imagery, considerable benefit may be derived from the small system approach, particularly during the selection of features of interest for more intensive study. This paper outlines the basis for a system involving the use of low cost electronic modules and a micro computer in conjunction with a good quality closed circuit black and white television camera and a colour video monitor.
