Abstract:

Space tourism services are currently receiving considerable attention. The suggestion made or implied in a number of technical papers and other media is that space tourism will be profitable in the first half of the next century. Some have suggested that such services can be established by 2020. This paper will attempt to investigate the realizability of such claims.
