Abstract:
We have passed important milestones like the CDR (Critical Design Review), started Flight Unit (FU) integration, and according to fig. 1, there are between 12 and 16 months left to FU1 and FU2 delivery to NASA (as of June 1979). This does not mean that we have solved all the problems, but the development work is mostly finalized. So the time has come to think about applications of Spacelab and/or elements thereof for future space missions.
