Abstract:
Economic prospects based on space-based activities grow ever more visible each clay as Ear1h-orbiting satellites at various orbital heights extend their capabilities in the fields of communications. Earth-observing and global positioning technologies. The communications field will expand exponentially over the next decade if only a third or a quarter of the proposed satellite systems are finally built.
