Abstract:
The INTELSAT R&D Program commenced in the mid 1960’s, after the signing of the INTELSAT Interim Agreement in 1964. COMSAT, as the Manager for INTELSAT, had the responsibility for conducting INTELSAT’s R&D activities according to objectives set by the Interim Communication Satellite Committee (ICSC).
