Abstract:
The Italsat satellite has a three component payload: a multispot regenerative package which provides interconnectivity among six spots at 147 Mbit/s with SS-TDMA scheme; a global beam transparent package; a propagation experiment package operating in the 20, 40 and 50 GHz bands. This paper will consider only aspects associated with the multibeam payload.
