Abstract:

SAX is a major joint programme of the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and the Netherlands Agency for Space Programmes (NIVR).
SAX mission development is supported by a consortium of Institutes in Italy and the Netherlands and the Space Science Department of ESA. Alenia Spazio is the prime contractor for the design and construction of the spacecraft. Telespazio is responsible for the development of the ground segment and management of the spacecraft and payload operations.
