Abstract:

The Gulf of Gaeta is situated in the Centre-meridional zone of the Tyrrhenian Sea (fig. 1 ). The Tyrrhenian Sea is not a greatly studied basin with respect to its general characteristics, apart from works such as those by Ovchinnikov [1] and Lacombe and Tchernia.
