Abstract:

The United States Freedom Space Station and the European Columbus programme will be established during the 1990s. These are multi-purpose permanent facilities for use as laboratories, transportation nodes, and technology development focuses. British Aerospace has been studying the role that the Pallet, an established and fully developed product, could play in these bold new initiatives.
