Abstract:

At the start of the 1990s it became clear that, within very similar timescales, a series of Satellite Control Centres was required to support a number of EUROSTAR satellite programmes. All had similar overall functional requirements so there was considerable potential for the adoption of common TT&C (Telemetry, Tracking and Command) software as the basis of each control centre.
