Description

BIS Press Launch Event: UK Space Investment Campaign

At this event we will launch our new UK Space Investment Campaign, calling on the Government to double UK civil space spending by 2030 and restore and grow our contributions to the European Space Agency, so that Britain can stand alongside the world’s leading spacefaring nations. The campaign sets out how smarter, more ambitious investment in space will drive jobs, growth, innovation and national resilience here in the UK.

Supporting us on the day will be Dallas Campbell and Brian Blessed, who will be in conversation with each other and the audience, sharing their views on why the UK must raise its sights in space – a session that promises to be both entertaining and highly informative. This will be a chance to hear first-hand what we are asking of Government, engage with leading figures from media, politics, academia and industry, and explore the opportunities a bolder UK space policy.
